I really want to keep Blanc’s backstory a mystery, but if they ever do show us Blanc’s family on screen i hope they’re all played by iconic British actors with thick southern accents. let Ian McKellen and Judi Dench play Blanc’s parents. they’ve been cast as posh British people for so long. let them be free

I love that Benoit Blanc isn't a dickhead

too many detectives in these detective series are dickheads for no reason. They're only interested in solving the mystery and nothing else. They don't care about the people involved. And that's fine as a character flaw, but it has become tiring after seeing it a million times.

I just watched a video analysis and the person in the video put it really well: "solving the mystery doesn't equal doing the right thing"

and Benoit Blanc does the right thing.
